As a NICU parent herself, Heidi recognizes that having a baby in the NICU can be a difficult experience with many highs and lows. She believes that the sharing of information, paired with compassionate advocacy is the key to creating successful medical communities. Heidi Weber holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and advanced training in family systems. She has a master’s degree in Family Education. Prior to working for the Minnesota Neonatal Foundation, she worked as an elementary teacher in kindergarten and third grade and worked to provide support for families who encounter a diagnosis. Heidi and her husband have three children and live in Plymouth, Minnesota.
